There has long been an arguement as to whether society needs a strong hand to keep from descending into chaos, or if people given more freedom will basically treat each other well. According to this study, many species are programmed to play nice. If accurate, can we extend this to human society and consider that laissez faire advocates are correct; given less regulation, and more freedom, we will use it kindly?
