Dude if this poster refers to you... you aren't doing it right:

1. I refuse to pretend that racism and sexism no longer exist, so they call me a Liberal. Of course, I'm usually pointing out that the worst sexism and racism is promoted by Liberal "equality programs", so they call me a conservative.

2. Money doesn't magically trickle down from the rich, so I'm a Liberal. But at the same time, I work for really rich guys. It isn't magic... its work. So I'm a Conservative

3. Homosexuals aren't evil, but I'm not interested in hearing about people's homosexuality either. I don't advertise that I'm hetero: keep it to yourself. Therefore I'm a homophobic conservative.

4. Non-Christians aren't evil, so I must be a Liberal. However, I do defend Christian's rights to peacefully practice their religion... must be a Conservative.

So I am both a Conservative and a Liberal... what do you make of that?

Defining yourself based on shared group values is Nationalism. Be an individual, let others be individuals, and quit worrying about what people will call your politics.
