Will Canada pull a Cyprus?

On Tuesday, Flaherty’s spokesperson said that insured deposits — eligible savings up to $100,000 — would be safe from any crisis-induced confiscation scheme.

On Wednesday, Flaherty's spokesperson said that it would be “premature” to respond to that question until Ottawa has a chance to consult with the banks and others.

+David Lischuk I misread your response. You store physically? Locally? I know there are several companies that offer secure storage services. (In Canada they are only in Toronto)
