I was just pondering a lesson in careful observation I got this weekend...

I was doing my weekly 3 hour commute to the valley this weekend, when I noticed a large aircraft flying low over a field, with what appeared to be two lines of gas escaping. I couldn't believe it, I was actually witnessing "ChemTrails" for the first time ever. Then I noticed what was really happening.

There is an airforce base right where I was driving, and this was one of the training aircraft. I wasn't looking at a chemtrail, I was looking at a new driver that didn't know how to change gears. He made a couple of passes, and every time he changed direction a stream of exhaust would belch out the back of the aircraft.

Just goes to show how easily we can mis-interpret what we see.
