I agree we need to end this fossil thinking. Unfortunately, since 1919, it has been government mandate that has resulted in corporate monopolies and crony-ism in Nova Scotia's the energy sector.

Given The Nova Scotia Government's track record with picking winners and losers, it needs to stop picking losers by staying out of the corporate sector.

We need to leave the past behind and move forward with 21st century models. The old solutions of Governance are what created the problems in the first place, more of the same is not going to help. It is time to put the utilities back in the hands of the public, by getting it out of the hands of the politicians. Otherwise, the consequences could be catastrophic.
