I will give the Nova Scotia government credit for its openness, but I am horrified by some of the wait times they publish.
My wife and I are often amazed at how quickly our US friends get medical attention when they need it. Generally, from first symptoms to initial tests, we wait 6-8 months if it is "serious".

They don't want to actually help anyone. They want to appear to be helping. They don't want to volunteer at the shelter. They want to say they voted to have someone else do it.
By the same mindset, they don't care if ACA works. They just want the world to see they voted for "free government healthcare". The truth of "free" or "healthy" or "care" be damned.
