I have long had a policy of not being embarassed by the facts of life. In fact the more embarassed of things I feel the more I try to cure the embarassment by openly and frankly discussing the subject.

Today I felt great embarassment and discretely excused myself from work while attempting to hide the fact that I had a giant hemroid. This is a distinct violation of my personal philosophy and leaves my coworkers to speculate even worse things.

Besides. A hemroid isn't all that bad
