Went for my first trip to the shooting range in years... All day I've been catching whiffs of matches. I think my sinuses are full or cordite ;)

I don't own any, so I borrowed a couple of pistols from a friend: a Glock-17 and a Beretta (M9?). I really liked that Beretta: a lot heavier, but way more stable.

What's your preference?

I'm a pacifist and do not condone carrying of weapons for personal protection, but I don't have issue with sport or hunting, etc.

I agree, carrying causes problems. I grew up punching holes in paper targets. I had forgotten how much I enjoy doing it.

Spent a day at the outdoor range with an old friend, had a picnic, and some good reminiscing. I'm nowhere near a competition grade shooter, but still fun to hang out, compare style, and make fun of one another.
