That guy obviously doesn't like how democracy works.  Tough for him.

I don't disagree that the delegation of authority via election is an archaic and ineffective system, unchanged since the Bronze Age Republics of Greece and Rome.

I do find it abhorrent that several authors are advocating revocation of the people's will being factored into decision making, and calling it democratic.
