Nothing like getting to meet the neighbors. Met all of them on Nuit Blanche for an art exhibit in my back lane, and then we were invited across the street for new years eve. good times. but I feel a bit dirty after because of all the gossip and housing price talk. We learn almost too much sometimes.

Really I was just trying to keep people calm, so don't remember the first thing about what people said.

As for the neighbour we had over... single and retired. Combine that with a dark power outage you get something that looks like scared and lonely.

I don't want to socialise with my neighbours, but I do want us to be able to knock on doors when we are in trouble.
