Given the amount of virtue signalling, and oil pipeline protesting, and people complaining about my how dirty my moped is, I'm a little shocked by this.
The move away from smaller cars isn't just a North American phenomenon. ... many analysts weren't even tracking larger vehicle sales in China. But ... SUV and truck sales are growing exponentially there, too
Forget the environment, I'm tired of people that complain they can't pay their bills, while stepping into their brand new SUV.
Also why I ran a moped. The fuel efficiency was appalling, but at 2.5L a week vs 20L in my car...
Also disheartened to hear Musks disrespect for concern over his dreams. So electric Tesla in my future? No. It would be my dream to find some money or a 'sugar daddy' venture capitalist and become the Canadian Musk and build something everybody can afford and use.
As for the mini-van, my fantasy setup is a camperized Daihatsu 4x4 van with two motorized bicycles mounted on the back. If I could throw diesel into that mix, I would (you can't, energy/fuel ratio isn't there with diesel either).
The lighter you make you vehicles, the less fuel they consume.
