This is soooooooo true. Except for me, the timescale is wrong because sometimes you need a couple days or even a week to let online-ordered parts arrive before you finally break the thing completely and then either put it up on a high shelf as a 'project I'll get back to when I have time,' or recycle it, and forbid people ever mentioning it again.
